PRGPHECY lt is the year 1900 and the biggest Alumni Banquet, and dance in the History of Ridge High School is in full swing. Guy L.ombardo's orchestra is playing for the big occasion in the gymnasium. Everyone of the 1952 Seniors are present. We see Richard Evans entering with his camera in one hand and three albums of his favorite trick shots under his other arm. Close behind follow his two boys and his little girls with Baby Brownies snapping shots of things around the auditorium. ln one corner we see Don Davis, an undertaker, and Dick Goodwin, head of the Van Wert Recreation Department, having a heart to heart talk. Dick who gives the boys a good workout, also gives Don a good supply of customers. Don's motto is You Kill Em: l'll Chill Em. l..aDonna and Carl Wollenhaupt are handing out small sample tubes of tooth paste to everyone. She and Carl have started manufacturing it in their new factory. They call it 'Aids in Tooth Decay Bonnie Logan enters wearing a beautiful sable coat. She and her husband pooled their money and now own one of the largest cattle ranches out West. Bonnie has a hobby of collecting rare furs. Dressed in her jungle attire we see Marion Davies, a big game huntress, who had succeeded Frank Buck in his work in Africa. She just got back two weeks ago from one of her tours in which she was hunting Rhinoceroses. We find Dotty Lou tall, lank and underfed as she opens her sample kit, we can un- derstand. She has been appointed head saleswoman of Jantzen bathing suits and her territory is Fairbanks, Alaska. Arlene and DeWayne Hyman sit chomping on a large cud of gum which they have dis- covered. lt's a new method of reprocessing gum which they find under the chairs in their restaurant. A Buick station wagon pulls up outside and soon the room is filled with 12. little bright and shining faces. Yep! none other than Marilyn and Frank. Much to their humility they explain that they had seen Cheaper by the Dozen. Evelyn Kerns who is here just came down for tonight from Washington where she was just sworn in as the first lady President of the U. S. After serving as Vice-Pres- :dent for two terms, she has finally attained her goal. We see that everything is set for the entertainment. Dick Putman after many years has turned electrician, he has a natural gift for arranging the indirect lightingg the bulbs must be well hidden. The lights dim and the band plays soft strains of music. First on the program will be a boxing and stunt act done on skates by Helen Demint and Doris Hines. They are pro's now. They made their fame by skating from coast to coast on wheels, as McGee and McGouch. A modern dancer now takes the stage and it is non other than Betty Jo Vogt. She is the only gal who has ever been known to succeed in tying herself in knots and not being able to untie herself. After succeeding in doing this. Mary Ellen Ritchie takes the stage in her Public Speaking attire. She is now Speak- er of the House Also, she is editor of the New York Time. From her recent editorial she gives the great and difficult story The Three Bears. Mr. Buck Swany, a comedian, rare wit, and playwright now appears on stage and has the audience in stitches in no time. After searching for many years, he found that this profession required the least work. Siddenly! the lights go out and we are forced to leave the Alumni Banquet and our twelve years together.
