Miss Bowyer HISTORY OF THE CLASS OF 1951 Bang !Bang !VS'e started our high school year in fine fashion with the all important initiation. Since we were Freshmen, we have been highest in the high school in spelling and most of the time we have been highest in the county. What a record! A few of us took the scholarship tests at Defiance. We had one honorable mention in the state. Think of that! Jim Moorman was our president then and he still is ! Our Sophomore year was about the quietestwe have had. Everybody knows how quiet the Juniors can be! Two of the girls had poems entered in the Annual National Anthology of High School poetry. Our Junior year began with nine of our Students four class gets smaller all the timel, We had a play, Miss Jimmy, which the audience enjoyed and so did we. Another of our class had a poem selected for the Anthology. She received a certificate this time. We have a few aims and you know the motto, Make the best better, Well, that's what we're going to do the rest ofthe year and the next.
