We have even enjoyed our lessons even though they were difficult at times. A wiener roast at Barbara I-Iine's house in October put the trim- mings on the fall weather nicely. We also had a Christmas Party at Joan Johnson's house. Many attended and brought gifts for an exchange. We will be looking forward to a summer vacation soon, but will be eager to start back to school again next fall. For then we will be Juniors and looking forward to our Senior year. 10 . ..

The Seniors had their glory on our initiation day, but really we feel more like Freshmen now. On February eighteenth, we held a party at school which we gave for the entire high school. Several of the boys served on the reserve basketball team. They were: Richard Goodwin, Richard Evans, Richard Putman, DeWayne Hyxnan, and Albert Swaney. Don Davis served as assis- tant manager. Dotty Lou Stewart and Bonnie Lu Logan were cheerleaders. The rest of our class sold at the basketball games. We are all looking forward to being the Sophomores of the years 1949 and 1950. 9
