held at the school on May 7, 1948. It was The Junior, Senior Banquet was semi-formal. The Juniors' mothers prepared the meal, which was served by the Freshman girls. The theme for the prom was Serenade of the Bells . At one end of the gyni a white church was built and on each side of it was a cemetery in be- half of the departing Seniors. The graveyard had in it a tombstone for each Senior and on it stated how they died and when. The white tombstones on the green grass made a very impressive scene. The opposite end of the gyrn was covered with white crepe paper to look like white fence. Vining up the fence were red roses and green ivy. The side walls were done in blue and white strips.
