The Rocket staff of l958 continued the work of the pioneer staff of 1957. Just as the pioneers began with their antique printing presses and gradually improvedme hope the Rocket will improve in the future years. Through cooperation alone the staff has been suc- cessful and has achieved its purpose. The staff wishes to express its hearty thanks to all those who showed an eagerness in cooperating. The Rocket has sent out, with cannon-like effect, the happenings of our school. Many benefits were derived from editing the school paper. In the first place a group was given a responsibility and each one learned to cooperate. Those outside the school were informed of the work done in classes by special write-ups. Those with literary ability were given recognition. Practical experience was acquired through writing articles, typing mimeoscoping, mimeographing, and the final assembling of the paper. It was definitely a worthwhile undertaking.
