Editing an annual plays an important part in mdding an adequate historical background for a school. It is really merely a continuation of what the pio- neers started. Their methods of recording events differ- ed,however. Machines used in the business world todaywae unfamiliar to them. The pioneers were daily keepers of historical recordings. These writings showed initiative, responsibility, management, and determination. These are still required of us today if we want our historical re- cording, the annual, to be worthwhile. This is the sec- ond year the senior class has edited a yearbook and we, the staff, hope to see the custom continue through the years to come as this is the only way the happenings in school life, as the students see them,may he properly re corded. Of high importance in successfully editing an annual is that the entire student body cooperate. It makes for a better annual and that is the main objective in any- thing one does--to do better.
