For fhe pasf few years fhis clormifory has been fhe home of independenf freshman girls, and only because of fhe change in sfuclenf rafios did fhis become a men's dorm. . One of fhe mosf beaufiful and besf sifuafed dorrnifories on fhe campus, Greenwood l-lall was home for close fo 'lhirfy sfudenfs fhis year. Even wifh fhis number of sfudenls each and every person had all fhe comforfs of home and an ever presenf friendly afmosphere exisfed fhroughouf fhe house. Alfhough fhis hall is bordered on one side by a lof if offers fhe felling of freedom fo The occupanfs of The dorm, and also gives fhem ample room for fheir afhlefic acfivifies. IDA BOFFEY BACON HALL In Seplrember, 43 girls including Treshmen and upper classmen, were greeled by Mrs. Blanche Berglels, Ihe house- molher al Ida Bofley Bacon Hall, and Io lheir pleasure found Ihe dormilory complelely renovaled. The house looked very arlraclive, and was greally enjoyed by The girls. By The lime we had gollen well acquainled ir was Hal- loween. A parly was given which was a huge succee. Near The close of Ioolball season we began 'ro look forward Io Ihe annual Thanksgiving dinner. Our dinner was held in Mary Hooper Hall and included Iurkey wilh all Ihe Irimmings. Our guesls for The-evening included Dean Wrighl and Dr. and Mrs. Gill. As our second Ierm progressed, 'rhe Chrislmas spiril prevailed. We sen'r gills 'ro Ihe Carolyn Slokes Nursey as our annual project We wen'r Chrislmas caroling wilh The girls from Mary Hooper Hall, and visiled Ihe nearby dormilories, sororily and Iralernily houses.
