Allhough The maioriTy oT The purposes were achieved, The organizaTion found iT diTTiculT To cope wiTh The rising eligibiliTy rules. Rider College Tavored The adopfion oT boTh The Treshman rule and The Transfer rule. The oTher colleges opposed The move because mosT of Them are Too small To operaTe wiThouT Treshmen. WalTer R. Taylor, direcior of puloliciTy and professor of journalism and English in Rider College, was elecTed presidenT of The organizaTion Tor The I949-50 season. Also elecTed To oTTice were Henry E. Schmidt oT MonTclair Teachers, vice presidenT: and PeTer P. STapay, of Panzer, secreTary- Treasurer. Mr. Taylor acTed as publiciTy direcTor Tor The organizaTion. The member schools include Rider, Panzer, MonTclair, Bloom- field, Paferson and John Marshall.

Many oTher girls are acTive in The various clubs and organizaTions in The college. H One of The biggesT evenTs of The year Tor Hooper l-lall was The lnTer-DormiTory Dance. Following ThaT, we had our Thanksgiving dinner, our ChrisTmas dinner and our ChrisTmas parTy. Our plans also included a ValenTine's parTy and sororiTy acTiviTies. 222
