In lhe championship courl conlesl, Della Sigma Pi, who finished lhird in Sabre League compelilion, came all lhe way lhrough lhe playolls lo earn a shol al Phi Sigma Nu. The Phi Sigs were hard pressed bul, wilh an experienced leam, overcame a lhird period delicil and wenl on lo add anolher lrophy lo lheir already large colleclion. As lhe campaign ground inlo high gear, lhe Phi Sigs were knocked oul ol lhe undelealed ranks by lhe slrong Champlainians, bul copped lhe Skull League crown aller lhe Champlainians were de- lealed by Sigma Lambda Pi and lied by an under- raled Pi Della Phi squad. The lralernily boys ran roughshod over Sigma Lambda Pi, Pi Della Phi, Conrad Hall and lhe Gal-loping Gaels.
