This Tile has proved To be invaluable in aiding The various groups when They are campaigning Tor members. The council has as one oT iTs aims The prevenTion OT any religious diTTiculTies and also The solving oT Those ThaT do arise. IT is evidenT ThaT The absence of Those diTTiculTies is a noTeworThy siep Towards an undersTanding relaTionship. The TirsT halT of The TwenTieTh cenTury has seen remarkable improvemenTs in social relaTionships in The UniTed STaTes. The laTTer halT should exceed iT in many ways especially when The groundwork is being laid by such groups as The lnTer-I:aiTh Council.

Membership has increased by 5070 during lhe pasl lwo years, and lhe accompishmenls ol lhe group have grown propor- lionalely. Hillel represenls a home away from home, where sludenls ol lhe Jewish lailh may meer, discuss problems, allend leclures by world-renowned guesl speakers, arrange social alilairs, and parlici- pale in all lypes of alhlelics. This year l-lillel ran an eller Chrislmas vacalion inler-Iailh social evenl which was regarded as highly successlul. We hope lhal This will be a nolable year lor lhis Councilor- ship since il reached such greal heighls in achievemenl in l949-50. The annual highlighl ol l-lillel is lhe Spring Frolic. Al This lime lhose selecl members who have coniribuled The mosl lo lhe '1 organizalion are awarded wilh keys. A marked change in lhe name ol lhe group was made early in lhe year.
