WiTh The beginning oT World War ll, BeTa Xi had To close iTs doors Temporarily so ThaT iTs men could aid The cause oT Treedom. Early in I946, wiTh The reTurn To Rider oT many of The men oT DelTa Sigma Pi, The TraTerniTy was re4acTivaTed. IT was a long hard pull buT The DelTa Sigs can proudly say, we are men oT DelTa Sigma Pi: The world may judge us by our acTs. ln I946, The DelTa Sigs esTablished residence aT 909 Bellevue Avenue and have since ThaT Time made many improvemenTs To The inTerior oT Their house, malcing iT a home Tor all broThers. ln I947, BeTa Xi broughT TorTh, aT The NaTional ConvenTion in Minneapolis, The idea oT conducTing a Rose oT DelTa Sigma Pil' conTesT. This idea has been adopted by all The chapTers oT The TraTerniTy and The lnTernaTional Rose is selecTed once a year Trom girls selecTed as Rose oT The respecTive chapTers. BeTa Xi's social calender was successTul again This year. Three house parTies and a summer picnic were held, wiTh The highlighT of The year, The lniTiaTory Formal held aT WashingTon's Crossing Inn, honoring The new broThers iniTiaTed inTo The TraTerniTy.
