Under The leadership of Mary Lyn Freebern, The Gammas had a successTul year. This was made possible by The I8 sisTers who re- Turned in The Tail. We greeTed Tive new sisTers aTTer enioyable weeks QT rushing, pledging, and Tinally The lniTiaTion Formal held aT Jack Fowler's in March. This year our members were busy in The many acTiviTies around school. A number oT The girls were in The varieTy show. The social and business clubs OT Rider also aTTracTed our members To aid in Their TuncTions. In January, as we neared our Pledgee l-lop, Marge Cameron was chosen Miss PersonaliTy and Took her Trip To New York CiTy. Mrs. KaTherine Long, our house moTher, has aided us greaTly during The pasT year. Mrs. George Tapper, our new advisor, also is a valuable asseT To The Gammas. An alumnae homecoming weekend, held in March, was a huge success, and The reunion of old and new sororiTy sisTers added much To The pleasure of college life.
