□□□ □□ SNACK SHACK Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) identifies the program of student activity relating to Distributive Education and is designed to develop future leaders for marketing and distribution. DECA is the only national student organization operating through the nation’s school to attract individuals to careers in marketing, merchandising, and management. The purposes of DECA are to develop education in marketing and distribution which will contribute to occupational competence and to promote understanding and appreciation for the responsibilities of citizenship in our free, competitive enterprise system. The Snack Shack is also a part of the RHS marketing program in which the DECA students can obtain work experience. 1. Sheila Hitchman looks over to the counter before she makes change to see if the customer wants anything else. 2. “Service with a smile” is John Flannigan’s motto as he sells Cindy Lawson a candy bar. 3. Judy Cantrell exhibits enthusiasm as she waits on Bobi Jo George. 4. The Riddle DECA chapter consisted of Back Row: Cindy Lawson, John Flannigan, Kari Zenchenko, Sheila Hitchman, and Judy Cantrell. Middle Row: Bobi Jo George, Nora Cunliff, and Karen Wooden.
