To earn money for the money-making activities, they included car washes, sock hops after home football games, sold giant color books, and stickers, at a school bazaar, and cut wood. The main money making project was the Arm Wrestling event. Another big money-maker was the first Powder Puff football game with the Junior girls playing against a volunteer team consisting of Seniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen girls. The Junior girls out-scored the volunteer team 14-6 and made $278.00 on the game.
