Coin Two Sophomore girls making the varsity basketball team this year are Myrna Halter and Debbie Jordan. Playing on the junior varsity team are Nancy Anderson, Melisa McFie, and Mary Zenchenko. GAA also offered other sports, in addition to basketball. After this sport came volleyball with gymnastics during the same season. The last sport and the one in which most girls participate is in the spring-track. Not to be out done by the girls, the Sophomore boys participated in various sports. School started off in the fall with cross country and football. Everyone remembers Ronnie Witt and his floppy hat. Runners with him were Dan Knapp. Stan Hall, and Joe Pospisil. The wrestling team consisted mainly of Sophomores; holding top places were Phil Mills-Price and Ted Kelly. Sophomores also held positions on the basketball team. 14
