Hop aboard our magic carpet, and join us in our little trip. Incidentally this carpet stops only in towns where past students of old Riddle High are located. The year is 1960 and everything is quiet and peaceful. First let's stop off in Los Angeles and look the town over. While the ladies go to get their hair fixed at the Macdonald Beauty Parlor owned by none other than our old chum Isa Macdonald, the boys look at some of the new 1960 car models. Whom should we find as sales manager but our old friend, Doris Hollingsworth. Of course, she's selling Nashes, while keeping one eye on the ocean. Reason: Bell bottom trousers, coat of Navy blue. Here come the girls so let's jump on the magic carpet and travel to Houston, Texas. As we stop off here we see our pal in peace and war, Albert Hausotter, who now owns half of Texas and has several hundred head of cattle. He invites us out to dinner at the Eat Less for More Money cafe owned by our old companion Erwin Harmon. It is only one of the many restaurants owned by Erwin. We thank Albert for the wonderful meal and take off on our magic carpet for Mexico where we plan on hearing a concert. When we arrive at the concert hall who should we find presenting the concert but our classmates of 1950-'51 - Robert Strode - famous clarinet player and Betty Wagoner - well-known trombone player. After hearing a fine concert we leave Mexico for Washington D.C. where we plan on seeing the newly elected Republican president. Much to our astonishment he is none other than our old partner William Vaughn. He plans to move the capitol to Riddle, Oregon as most things which go on in the nation's capitol are riddles. Thus we end our journey wishing the best of luck to all of our classmates. 10

We, the class of 51 being of reasonably sound mind and understanding, do hereby declare this to be our last will and testament. To the Junior class we will our position as high and mighty Seniors. To the Sophomore class we will our intelligence and good looks. To the Freshman class we will our good grades and courage to carry on in the following years of high school. Doris Hollingsworth: I, Doris Hollingsworth, will my I in Journalism to Dick Mann for that's the only way he'll ever get it and my position as cheerleader to anyone with the lung power to carry on. Isa Macdonald: I, Isa Macdonald, will my job as postmistress for Mrs. McGee to Marlene Smith and my ability to get along with Coach to Virginia Schmidt. Betty Wagoner: I, Betty Wagoner, will my citizenship grade and my ability to get along with all my teachers to John Gould. Robert Strode: I, Robert Strode, will my sense of humor to Miss Carroll and my long blond hair to Jerry Meyers. Albert Hausotter: I, Albert Hausotter, will my ability to be tardy for classes to Robert Van Doren, my grades to Theo Mann and my English book to John Rigsby. Erwin Harmon: I, Erwin Harmon, will my chemistry book to anyone who is interested and my janitor Job to any strong armed handsome boy who will use the money wisely. William Vaughn: I, William Vaughn, will my skill to collect ads for the annual to the Junior class and my No. 99 in basketball to anyone who can wear it. 9
