SUPERINTENDENT FRED C. McDAVID The most important position at Richwoods is held by a fine gentle- man with a smile for everyone, Mr. Fred McDavid. To fulfill such a position requires a person who is not only energetic and enthusiastic, but also one who understands the operation, main- tenance, management, and needs of the school. This person must be an educational leader,- he must be willing to give forth his efforts to the advancement of the school. Mr. McDavid is ideally suited to the job. His every effort has been to retain and enhance the fine reputation that Richwoods enjoys. To Superintendent Fred McDavid we are indeed grateful for the out- standing leadership given to Richwoods Community High School. 7

MR. DONALD MARINE The Excolibur staff of 1963 would like to dedicate this book to a man who truly illustrates the Richwoods spirit. A vivacious personality v ho works with undying energy for any school activity, this man has proved to be an inspiration to many students. In this way he has con- tributed to the recognition our school enjoys and to many honors it has received. He has provided many enjoyable hours of entertainment for the Richwoods population. Drama and debate are two of the fields in which he excels.
