We Dedicate This Book to: Mr. RICHARD ERZEN Assistant Superintendent and Dean of Boys We, the Excalibur staff of 1960, would like to dedicate this book to a man who most amply illustrates the Richwoods spirit and school citizenship. With untiring energy he has advised and counseled the student body to better understanding of themselves and the world in which they live. Whether it is 7 A.M. or 11 P.M.; whether it is an administrative situa- tion, student council work, a Dean of Boys’ problem, or a student or teacher wishing to speak to him, he is eager and ready to give of his time. His energy is perpetual along with his enthusiasm. Under his guidance the student council has executed its responsibilities for the betterment of the school. He has aided in its Mid-State Eight affiliation, social functions, and the American Field Ser- vice Student Exchange Program. He has given unselfishly of his time and effort in helping Richwoods obtain the high recognition it has achieved in the past three years. You are a fine Knight. In appreciation we now dedicate this book to you, Mr. RICHARD ERZEN. Ready advice when it is needed.
