Left to right: John Coder, Betty Jo Webster, Rebecca Morrison, Larry Chapman. JUNIOR CLASS The Junior Class started the year 1952-1953 by electing officers and choosing class rings. The elected officers were: Larry Chapman, President, John Coder, Vice President, Becky Morrison, Secretary, Betty Jo Webster, Treasurer. After much debate we finally decided on All-American style class rings. Our big aim this year was to make enough money for the Junior-Senior Banquet. This we did by selling Christmas cards and serving several dinners. During the previous summer, we operated a concession stand at Baccarat Lake. Another money-making project was collecting sales tax stamps. We decided to have the Junior-Senior Banquet at Hotel Harding in Marion, on May 8. In April, our class presented a series of three one-act plays: THEY ALSO SERVE, THE INFORMER, and UNDERTOW.
