SCHOLARSHIP Scholarship maintained its high level in the schools of Union County during 1940. The General Scholarship Test for High School Seniors was participated in by 35 pupils and 190 pupils tried for places on the County Team. The spelling contest had entrants from each grade school in the county. The showing made in the District Contests by our representatives was most commendable, and the spirit shown by all schools in promoting scholarship is worthy of praise.
