lqii haf H S 'TNIOR CLASS HISTORY C my 'V Lrfe rs a full blown year Wrth all things rn therr season Thus rn our school career Each change hath rhyme and reason r re seasons come and go Each wrth rts grfts rn hand That we mav see and know How well all lrfe rs planned FRESHMEN KSPRIWGY Sprri rs the trme of all green and growing things fresh and verdant rn theu newness to all lrfe What more flttrng then than that the Freshman rn thrs green trme of hrs lrfe should enter s hool' The March wlnds and the Aprrl showers are very neces sarv to help the shoots of knowledge rn the Freshmans mrnd to bud At thrs first green trme of our lrfe we recerved the first seeds of knowledge and felt the first pull of the plow and cultrvator For thrs the Sprrng of our career we selected Myrle Stewart Evelvn Stewart and Carl Whrte to guide us over the rough places and to keep us rn the rrght path The and basketball In dramat1cs also we were at the top grvrng the play The Lrttle Clod l opper wrth characters prcked entirely from our own numbers As the Sprrng of our hrgh school lrfe passed and the Summer drew near as we were glad but we were also sorry for we had had some memorable trmes which would not soon be forgotten SOPHOMORE 1SUMMERl The wrnds and showers of Spring brought forth May flowers rn abundance and Summer came almost before we antrcrpated rt The sun shone brighter and the skies rr ere much bluer durrng the Summer maybe just thought so because we held our heads rp and were proud of ourselves rnstead of berng downcast and forlorn as we had been during the Sprrng The flowers had not yet drooped under therr accumulation of knowl edge but they were unfoldrng lrttle by little until they soon would be weighted down Slowly but surely we were comrng out rnto the lrght of the day When Old Sol smrled down on our summer garden he saw Myrle Stewart Beatrrce ODell Clayton Myers and Kathryn Badgett as the brrghtest flowers and leaders of the est We also aw Mvrle Stewart Mason H111 Carl Whrte and Rrchard Juergens as members of the football squad Myrle Stewart Roy Lowden Oakford Dertz and Hver Sutton as members of the basketball squad The grrls were also seen rn basketball Fhvllrs Morton Evelyn Stewart Madge McClung Gladvs McCroskev were the repre sentatrves Some Snphomores were regrettrng the thoughts of leavrng therr lower classmen days whrle others were lookrng forward wrth delrght to the days when they would become drgnrned upper classmen The Summer has almost passed and Autumn looms to the fr nt The buds of the Spring have become blossoms rn Summer and now they wrll change agam for Autumn si h Q A.
