HELEN A. KOCH DEAR SENIORS: It hardly seems possible that your high school days are over! Again you are 'faced with another grave decision-will it be further formal education or will you enter the business world? In either case, I hope Richmond Hill has helped prepare you for the days ahead. They are wonderful days in which to be living, they challenge the best that is in you! May you always practice those qualities of good citizenship, honesty, cooperativeness and depend- ability which we have endeavored to inculcate, and may you always be true to your God and your coun- try. Hold steadfast to your ideals and may this land be a better place because you have been part of it. Congratulations to you the members of the Class of 1954. My very best wishes go with you for success and happiness in your every undertaking. Sincerely, x7 . .xgclminidfra fion As the time approaches for your de- parture from the halls of Richmond Hill, I am reminded of a little verse by R. L. Sharpe: Each is given a bag of tools, A shapeless mass, A book of rules, And each must make, Ere life is flown, A stumbling block Or a stepping stone. May you build wisely and well, and may all good fortune come X our way. 9 Qfffdslz' HERBERT WHITE
