Y V 7.? . + .gf a,u6Ll0l0Ql'l86l AGP? The summer of 1941 came to a close and we of the Class of June 1945, entered high school. Those for whom Annex 90 was Hsomething new addedf' climbed up to the fourth floor with great expectations, those for whom 90 was nothing new, just climbed. , That first term saw many memorable events. Our girls were the first to have new lockers. Miss Cook was busy changing our programs. We sent representatives over to the Main to assist in the Block Party, and after many hectic campaign days, the team of Smith, Luhrs and White took over. The term ended with its crowning event-Freshman Day-when all the students were teachers and all the teachers were driven nuts! The Spring of '42 found us installed in Annex 56, the school that was famous for its unusual arrangement of auditorium and gym, separated only by swinging doors. The boys found this architectural idea refreshing, for they discovered they could stay awake in the auditorium by watching the girls going through their antics in the gym. We liked 56 so much that we decided to stay on for another term. February 1943 rolled around and with it the great day. Some of us en- tered the Main with so much enthusiasm that we almost arranged our senior prom that very term. ln the course of the term we met Miss Koch, detentions and Regents, in that order. About that time the weaker sex stopped going to dances with each other. ,Iahn,s became more popular with us, and so . 1.23, ,gf I another term passed. Q ,C . With the fifth term came the GO.
