TO THE SENIORS: The Senior Class of 1971 will be remembered as the first class to grad- uate from the new Richmond High School. You have been a traveling class, first at North Campus in the temporary buildings, then to the South Campus on alien soil, and finally back to the home site that was established some forty-two years ago as the Richmond High School campus. You have led the way in developing a new sense of pride, respect and loyalty toward your school. You have had the privilege of completing your high school career in one of the most modern educational facilities in Califo rnia. You have met the challenge. May you be successful in the years to follow. Sincere good wishes to each and every one of you. Sincerely, 2% Robert B. France

TO THE CLASS OF 1971: The Class of 1971 has done some fine things under some very difficult situations, and you should be proud of your accomplishments. As you come to the end of your stay at Richmond High, remember the happy times, the rich and rewarding experiences, the insights gained through your friendships and relation- ships with so many excellent students and teachers. Whatever your aspirations are after leaving Richmond High, may you carry with you the same enthusiasm and | fortitude that you have shown in the | past four years. History has destined that yours is the first class to graduate from the newest and most modern school fa- cility in the State of California. Congratulations! PETER A. RUFFATTO MR. We wish you luck and best wishes for the many new changes, ‘“‘firsts’’ and “lasts’’ you will be encountering in the years ahead. Sincerely, Jane H.
