With A Warm Feeling For RUHS its Miss Lois Smid, who assumed the duties of head secretary February 4, checks the weekly program with Principal Gray. Miss Smid, a member of the RUHS Class of January, 1950, has been a member of the Office 5 secretaries since a month before her graduation. She has ten secretaries under her direction at the present time. Miss Mary Gately, head secretary of RUHS for the past forty- four years, completes one of her last official duties with Principal Gray. Miss Gately, a member of the RUHS Class of 1921, retired February 3. A dinner in her honor, sponsored by the Faculty Club February 4 at the Richmond Golf and Country Club, was attended by some 500 friends and faculty members, both past and present. ‘a
