The party was held in the boys' gym, which was decorated with a large weeping willow in the center of the gym with benches placed around the tree. Willow' Lanei' was under the direction of Mr. Bledsoe. Nada Lora, the Vice-President of the class. acted as the general chairman ofthe party. Hl,ook to the llainhowil was the Senior Play, which was presented to the school on November 2, I950. Miss Alberta Best acted as director while Karen lirishin was student director. Rudy Miranda wrote the play. which was considered a huge success. Mr. Fry was responsible for the tickets to the night performance while Mr. Enos handled the tickets for the morning performance. Third of the Senior Events took place in the school cafeteria, this being the Senior Banquet. Winter Time. Turkey and all the trimmings were served by 1-12's to the Seniors. The decorations carried out the theme with snowmen and Santas in sleighs for place cards. The Senior Advisor in cha1'ge ofthe affair was Miss Gertrude Wfeatherby. who was presented an orchid for the occasion. Four scholarships were made, three of which went to Donald Edwards while Beverly Britenbucher took the honors for the girls. The Hotel Leamington was chosen as the place for the one and only Senior Ball which was held on January 20, l95l. This was the high light of the Senior Events and will be something to remember for a great many days. l Last, but far from least, was the Commencement which took place on Jan. 23, 1951.
