SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS 'vu- 129' 5 I -fe, T 'G4.f 4, .gi - ' H- ' JANET PERES WALT YYlLSON CYNELL1-I ALLEN Secretary President Vice-Presitlenl Highlights of the The February 1950 Class. 230 strong, entered the R.li.H.S. halls of learning on February 3. 1947. During the 1-10 semester. the class officers were as follows: Walt Wilson, President: Barbara McKeegan. Secretary: Sarah Martinez. Yice-President. Bob Thomas was a meni- ber of the JY Baseball Team. The members of the class sponsored an afternoon dance. Spring Feyerf' on May 16th. 1947. Garlene Gallagher was appointed chairman in charge of the refreshments. Bob Owens, President. ruled the 2-10 semester with Barbara McKet-gan. Yice-President. and Joyce Shoultz. Secretary. A dance. Witches Walk. was held on October 25. 19-1-T, and was sponsored by the 2-10 Class in l'0ll- junction with the 1-10 Glass. The decorations were in Halloween motif. A short program. a square dance. and a grand march added to the enjoyment of the occasion. Cynelle Allen. Robert Howard. and Anastasia Manitsa were the scholars of the class and attained memberships in the C.S.l . The athletes of the class and members of the JY Football Team were Donald fllawson. Thomas Kelli. Bill filt'lllI. Jolltl Toffoli. YYalt Willson. Boll Alcuou- gal. Karl llenning. and Walt Olson. Joyce Shonltz. President: Barbara McKeegan. Yice- President, and Marjory Eslment. Secretary. were the class officers during the 1-11 semester. The main activity and form of business was the planning for the Junior Prom to be held during the next semester. Bill Glenn and Don Clawson were members of the Yarsity Basketball Team: Walt Wilson and Bob Owens were members of JY Basketball: John Patterson. Edward Phillips and Dayid Dixon were on the Track Team: Thomas Kent and Bill Murphy were on the Yarsity' Baseball Squad. and Bob Thomas was a member of the JY Baseball Team. Anastasia Manitsa and Beverly' Damon were C,S,F. members. The 2-11 Class officers were Ronald Bertholf, President 3 .loan Ligon. Yice-President: Joyce Shoultz. Secretary. A very' successful Junior Prom was held on October 16. 1948, The theme of this dance was the l'.S.S. Starlight. Music was provided by Jack Horner's Band and a short program added to an evening of entertainment. Members of the Yarsity' Football Squad were Bill Glenn. Walt Wilson. Fe bruary 1950 Class Lefty Kent, Don Clawson. Karl Henning. and Leonard Bassignani. The JY Football Team acquired the services of John Toffoli. Leonard Gerry. and Ronald Bertholf. Ronald Schell held the office of bailiff. Joan Ligon, Anastasia Manitsa. Edward Phillips. and John Toffoli were the brain-storms of the class and their names were on the C.S.l . list. During the 1-12 semester the class officers were Marvin Scott. President: Janet Peres. Yice-President: Ginger Locati. Secretary. A dance. April Frolicf' was held in the Boys' Gym. The purpose of this function was to raise money for the 2-12 fund. A talent show and George Embry's Band highlighted the evening. Bunny Gridley was Social Chairman of the Student Association. Janet Peres. Ed Phillips and Anastasia Manitsa were C.S.1 . members. Drama members were Bill Shaw. Bunny Gridley. Mildred Wiggens. Nancy' Neal, Beyerly Fabricius. Eunice Seader. Jackie Bucciarelli. Richard Faulkner. Bill Kent. Track members were Dayid Dixon. Ed Phillips. John Toffoli. Jack Edgar. Yarsity Basketball members were Walt Wilson. Allan Morgan. Manager. Bill Murphy and Bob Thomas were Y arsity' Baseball members. Rally mem- bers were Bruce Atteberry. Don lflawson. Coleman Fan- nin. Leonard Gerry. Bill Glenn. Karl Henning. Bob Owens, Bill Shaw. John Toffoli. YYalt YYilson and Charles Fletcher. During the 2-12 semester. the members of the clas- entered into many actiyities and clubs which are pictured throughout this book. The highlights of this term were the Senior Party. Senior Play. Senior Day. Senior Ban- qttet. and Senior Ball. The officers were YYalt Wilson. President: Cynelle Allen. Yice-President: Janet Peres. Secretary. C.S.1 . members were Janet Peres. Edward Phillips. Anastasia Manitsa. Cynelle Allen. Nadine Stod- dard. and Joan Ligon. Members of the Yarsity Football Team were Don Clawson. Bill Glenn. Lefty' Kent. Bob Owens. Leonard Gerry. Leonard Bassignani. Ron Bertholf. John Toffoli. The 2-12 Class is now awaiting the important date of graduation on January' 31.
