2300 work day-by-day Gariy-risers roamed the halls as early as 7:30. By 8:15, club meetings were well under way. Homeroom and first hour slapped sleepy RHSers in the face. Language, social studies, business, and math filled minds until fourth hour. Ravenous students then piled into the cafeteria for a “nutritious meal. The half-hour break gave friends a chance to discuss the day’s events. After their last class, be it fourth, fifth, or sixth hour, students headed for their lockers, then for home or a job. Some remained for consultation with teachers or counselors. By 4. the halls were deserted. Not knowing what each new day would bring. 2300 students labored through the 180-dav school year.

People entered, searching for answers to intangible questions. Minds joined together to find the answers and, after much deliberation, developed new ways of thinking. Responsive to the needs of others, each individual devoted his own unique talents to the betterment of the student body.
