RH Sers were busier by the hour. They found their way oflife was thejourney to and from school and the busy, happy, rewarding and sometimes discouraging moments spent within. Jobs, club activities, and homework awaited them, but nothing kept academic or general students from sulfering the normal teenage tensions or troubles such as flat tires, stalled motors, break ups, endless hours of homework, being broke, dateless or the frustrations of oncoming exams. RHS life was changed, though, team teaching and new teachers were symbolic of the ever-growing home ofthe Richmond Red Devils.

A shock vibrates its course as warm feet touch a cold floor and thejolt ofhot bath water refreshes the numb body and mind ofa sleepy eyed citizen of Richmond High School. The trek to the complex brings worries of undone homework and unavoidable exams that tax the learning power. Strength is enforced and voltage increases at the sight of fellow perveyors ofgossip in the few anxious minutes before Hrst period. The bell sounds and starts the first of ever-present, overhanging challenges ofthe future. This is when it begins and for most will never completely end.
