Along with the The Y-Teen social season got off to a big start at the annual Big and Little Sister Tea. RHS girls modeled fash- ions from a local store, and Pat Ahl acted as mistress of cere- monies. Many RHS students took part in the Sesqui-Centennial pageant last summer. It was a thrilling experience to be a part of the mammoth Land of Promise. The Football Frolic, sponsored by Block R, opened the social season of the school year. Informally dressed, RHS guys and gals danced to recordings and climaxed the evening by crowning Jerry Turner as King. Virginia Zuttemeister models at the Big and Little Sister Tea. Our Student Council conducted the annual Open House on November 15th. We proudly and sometimes reluctantly introduced our parents and teachers, and they beat around the bush con- cerning- our schoolwork. A planned program for interested parents was put on in McGuire Hall, and the film, Chalk Dust, was showrr. Our Tac Club at YWCA is in its second suc- cessful year. It is the largest teen center in the United States, having over 700 members. The Tac Club is governed by a student Tac Council and is managed by them. It provides a check room, coat room, snack bar, and one large all-purpose room used for dancing, ping-pong and television. The Tac Club is a student center after the games and on away-game nights. It is something to be proud of, for it is our club, run by us and for us. A group of students taking a break at the afternoon drop-in. A Favorite Coiner at Tac Club. Hub-Bub at the Tac Club 11
