OUR FACULTY WORKS IN SHIFTS September, 1947, brought to the minds of R. H. S. teachers thoughts of another school year. A year of work, plus a lot of play. A year of reward, or maybe a question of why they chose teaching as a profession. Yet, as the school year of 1947-48 draws to a close, we, as students, know their efforts have not been in vain. Seated: (left to right) Mr. Sollors Mr. Alexander Miss Parke Mrs. Lacey Mrs. Harold Mr. Robertson Standing: (left to right) Mr. Abercrombie Mr. Baker First Shift 7:00 a. m. - 1:15 p. m. — The Graveyard Shift. Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy (?), and wise. We wonder if these teachers get much sleep. Page 22
