So live that the man in his time be possible, be the years, he is Waiting his leave for him? Will it be lust or dissipation, a mind NSTEAD of attempting myself to write a mes- sage to you, the class of 1932, I should like to pass on to you suggestions made by David Starr Iordan, once President of Indiana University, and until a few years ago President of Leland Stanford University. Though the message is addressed to young men, it is equally valuable for young is toward your after- you ought to be mav actual. Far away in turn. What will you a brain unspoiled by trained to think and actg a nervous system true as a dial in its response to the truth about you? Will you let him come and take your place, gaining through your experience, happy in your friendships, hallowed through your joys, building on them his own? Or will you Hing it all away, decreeing, vvantonlike, that the man you might have been never shall be? This is your problem which is vastly more to you than any or all others. That marked a new era for the school. The next year, as Iuniors, our brilliancy increased, and we started to take an active part in school affairs. We were no longer looked down upon as lowly, but as promising students. Our class increased in number till we had two hundred and seven members. This year marks the height of our glorious career, for we are Seniors. Our worthy Senior officers are: Iohn Harding, President, Donald Dandy Castelluccio, Vice-Presidentg and Blanche Dillon, Secretary-Treasurer. They have handled class affairs very well. The class sponsored Mortonite, which was a great success. Huge crowds attended the performances at the Tivoli Theatre, and the money which was realized was used to fatten the depleted purse of THE PIERIAN. Now it is time to bid adieu. Our school life at Morton has come to an end. We will always hold a cherished spot in our hearts for the education and pleasures which we have derived from our school. We can only hope that the Senior classes to come will carry on the Morton traditions as we have done. Ellie Svvninr Flag THE THIRD LEG H HE THIRD LEG is a farce-comedy by Alma VVilson. It is the story of the excite- ment preceding the third tennis tournament of a series in which Will Ianney hopes to win the loving cup that he has held for two years previous. Susie, the nurse-maid, is kept busy satisfying the whims of Mr. and Mrs. Ianney, who make a great effort to keep up appearances before club friends with whom Mrs. Ianney particularly is ambitious to associate. Several complications arise through the loan of Mr. lanney's dress suit to Mr. Thompson, an accommodating neighbor in the same apartment house. The attempt to cover embarrassing circumstances in which they involve themselves produces a really amusing play with numerous funny situations from beginning to end. THE CAST Susie. . .. .
