THE TRIDENT 1930 Mr. Noel Trusler Mr. Trusler is a newcomer to Morton; however, no one would know it by the number of friends he has made since he has been here. His executive ability was evident when he served as one of the sponsors for our all-school musical production. Ralph is to Ik- complimented for his untiring efforts as manager of Morton-ite. He cheerfully arranged practices and worked overtime to make stage settings and to secure lighting effects. Ralph Parker Miss Anna Bradblry Was there ever a time that Miss Bradbury failed to support the student body in maintaining social activates? She was right there whenever needed during the preparations for Mor-tonile. The seniors of 1930 are proud to have her for a class sponsor. iflnrtnnitp MORTONITE, the first all-school musical production given on the Morton stage, comprised twenty vaudeville stunts. A setting in futuristic design formed a gay background. Special lighting effects created an atmosphere of jollity. Robert Shelley, director of the band, was master of ceremonies. One outstanding feature of the entertainment was “The Lonesome Little Doll Act,” with Helen Frances Kinert and Warren Niles in the leading roles. Two child actresses, Joan Gans and little Dorothy Moorman, received much applause for their acts, Joan performing a Chinese dance, and little Dorothy representing the Spirit of Morton. The proceeds from the two performances were used to finance the annual of 1930. 1 he production was presented under the personal supervision of Miss Anna Bradbury and Mr. Noel Trusler. Page thirty
