yr rf w, Lisbon 26 - Richmond 0 The Lisbon team went off to a quick T. D. by Loring Russell and they made three T. D. 's after that, but Lisbon's veteran team was too much for Richmond. Richmond 7 - Oakland 6 The Bobcats won a thriller from Williams in the final minutes of the game. The Bobcats were led by their quarterback Mossie Sullivan who went over for the T. D. in the last seconds of the game. Richmond got the extra point with 19 seconds left on the clock, by a great pass from George Schools to Ed Coughlin who was all alone in the end zone to give Richmond the win. Williams got their T. D. in the third period and it looked as though that was the game until Sullivan came through for Richmond. Defen- sive stars were Phil Withee, Arthur Lebel, Gordon Stinson, Harry Simmons, and Linwood Horne. Winthrop 47 - Richmond 14 Richmond entered the game with just twelve men and played a hard, fighting game all the way but Winthrop was just too much for the boys to overtake, but played hard un- til the game was over. Halfback Ray Mayo led Winthrop scoring with three touchdowns. Richmond made two T. D. 's, one by George Schools and the other by Harry Simmons Defensive stars were Phil Withee and Ed. Coughlin. Boothbay Harbor 20 - Richmond 0 The Boothbay Harbor boys came through with their first win of the season by beat- ing the Richmond boys 20-0. Richmond played as hard as they could but Boothbay was just too strong for the Richmond boys. Richmond made a couple of threats in the final period but couldn't get the ball over for a T. D. Harry Simmons played an all round game by doing some brilliant running. Mossie Sullivan and Ed Coughlin also played fine ball for the Richmond boys. Mr. Hinckley: Do you know Ibegan life as a barefoot boy? George Schools: Well, I wasn't born with shoes on either. Louis Lemieux: Ah Cherie Je-t' adore. Debbie Bates: Aw, shut the door yourself, you opened it. Qli MI. Hinckley: What is a detour? Ed Coughlin: The toughest distance between two points. iii? B. Locke: fat social, May Ihave this dance? E. Leibowitz: Sure if you can find a partner.
