In all, nearly eighteen boys came out for the first practice in April. They were hoping for one of the best records to prove themselves very worthy of their previous record of 10 wins and 2 losses. The boys had an unusual year in getting home runs. All together they got nine home runs which is very unusual for a high school team. The four boys who got home runs were James Sullivan, threeg Roger Babb, three, two of which were grand slamsg Roland Foster, twog and Gary Williams, one. There are six Seniors leaving this team, James Sullivan, Roger Babb, Ronald Leibowitz, Gary Williams, Phil Dow and Roland Foster. 'I'here is a lot of credit due Coach Bill O'Brien for turning out such a great team. Best of luck in future years. THE SEASON 'S RECORD R. H. S. 1 Winthrop 10 R, H, S, R. H. S. 17 Erskine 2 R. H. S. We were seeded fourth in section 3 in Western Maine and beat Wiscasset the first game 59-44, We lost to Lisbon in the second game 59-49. Four Seniors are leaving the team - George Schools, Harland Lebel, Jerry Reynolds and Ed Coughlin.
