Coach Briggs started out the year with three veterans back from the 53-54 team. U They were Ron Leibowitz, Gary Williams and Jim Sullivan. Although we didn't win the Valley crown again this year, we had a record of 15 wins and 6 losses. We had an average of 57 points a game and our biggest output was against Williams 82 points. The highest individual score was 26 points made by Ron Leibowltz against Winthrop. We went on a Northern trip over the Christmas vacation, which took in Blue Hill and Hermon. Everyone enjoyed themselves and we won both games. We were seeded third in section three in Western Maine and beat Wiscasset 64-54. We met Lisbon Falls in the second game and were beaten 65-54. There are seven seniors who played their last game for R.H, S. They are Ron Lei- bowitz, Gary Williams, Jim Sullivan, Roland Foster, Harry Hurley, Roger Babb, and Fulton Curtis. There are up and coming stars in Eddie Coughlin, Phil Withee, Harry Simmons and Maurice Sullivan. With the makings of a fine team next year, we expect another good season at R.H, S, INDIVIDUAL SCORING NAME TOTAL POINTS GAME AVERAGE R. Leibowitz 300 14. G. Williams 242 11. I. Sullivan 238 11. E.
