S. as frightened as little chil- dren on Halloween Night. For about a week you wouldn't have known that there was a freshman around, but when we got under way there was no stopping us! Four weeks went by, and then came our initiation. Girls in their fantastic costumes fell down the stairs, while the boys just stood and laughed, We held one record hop during the year, which was in the third quarter, We conducted a class meeting on the average of one every twt months. On September 7, 1953 we came back to R. H. S. as sophomores. This was the year we were to have all the fun-it was our turn to initiate the freshmen. Our sophomore year was a successful one, our greatest thrill being when we received our class rings. On September 6, 1954 we returned once more, refreshed and happy, ready to make the most of our junior year. Our class was so large that we had to remain in the room we occupied last year. We have held several sock dances this year.
