Lemieux. Our organization started the year with thirty-one girls making up the Glee Club, later be- ing joined by thirteen boys, which of course was a great asset. Returning from last year is Mrs. Persis Bates, our supervisor, who does a fine job in fulfilling her task. We have rehearsals on the average of once a week, and at one time made preparations for a Musical Show, but couldn't carry them out, due to so many other activities occuring at the same time. During the year, we held a meeting to-elect officers and they are as follows: President ------------- Georgia Moeller Librarian ------------- Pat McDermott Assistant Librarian ----------- Jean Guiou Even though we haven't sponsored any affairs this year, we don't feel that our time has been wasted, as we've all received a lot of enjoyment out of being a part of the club, Our sincere thanks go to Mrs. Bates for her untiring patience with us, and the Senior members extend their best wishes for the club's future success. The play was a comedy based on the trouble of Dot and Bill pretend- ing they were married and in the end getting caught. We also wish to thank Mr. Spear for all the time and effort he put into making the play a success. Stage manager was Neil Lemieux. Pauline Cray 53
