EDITORIAL We, the Seniors of 1953 have been preparing for the time of Graduation for many years and the occasion is now here. The end of our good old school days. Even though we all want to get out of school, deep down in our hearts there's an ache, for we know that we are to leave the wonderful times we have had at R.H.S. We must face the fu- ture, We leave the school with the thought that we are on our own. We must think for our- selves. R.H.S. has helped us get the opportunity to be successful. Even though we may all enter different fields of work, we hope to be successful, and we know that if we strive to do well and to get ahead, we WILL do well. As we go out into the world, many years from now we will remember the school and the wonderful times we have enjoyed here. Always, we will remember our graduation day, when we marched out with tears in our eyes, for we were to leave the wonderful friends we made during our schooldays, No matter what the future may hold, we may always remember our class motto: VICTORY CROWNS SUCCESS. Pauline Cray '53 SJPERINTENDENT RUSSELL W. PERRY Recognition goes to Mr. Russell W. Perry Superintendent of Schools and coach of the girl's basketball team, for his faithful ser- vice to the schools for the past eight years. You've certainly fulfilled your duties to the utmost, Mr. Perry, and you can be sure that all you've done for us has been deeply appreciated. Our sincere thanks are extended to you and we wish to express our best wishes for your continued success. The Seniors
