HOMECOMING 86: Despite the rain, Richmond Blue Devils came through with a 6-0 victory against the Cros-Lex Pioneers, on September 26. Due to tornado warn- ings, the game was postponed until the next day, where Kevin Schroeder caught a 15 yard pass for the winning touchdown. The floats were judged on originali- ty, size, and neatness. The Sophomores’ colorful float took first place, while the Seniors’ binocular float took second. The Juniors’ play- ing cards placed third and the Freshmen’s boat took fourth. The Homecoming Dance on September 27 was very successful. Plenty of students and alumni par- ticipated. The Homecoming King and Queen were Kevin Schroeder and Carmen Janssen. Other Senior representatives were Jean Newman, James Owen, Anne Cousino, David Smith. The underclass representatives were Junior — Karen Domagalski, Joel Brandei; Sophomore — Charlotte Carlson, Matt Spezia; Freshmen — Michelle Batory, John Kingman. Cheerleaders march down Main Street to raise spirits and begin the ceremonies of the 1986 Homecoming. The band marches proudly down the streets of Richmond.
