Text from Pages 1 - 160 of the 1975 volume:

Friendship Treasured Memories Old friends cannot be created out of hand. Nothing can match the treasure of common memories, of trials endured together, of quarrels and reconciliations and generous emotions . . . We forget that there is no hope of joy except in human relations. Antoine DeSaint-Exupery 2 thrives on individuality In the beginning, We understand Neither the universe, Nor the world, Nor the people, Nor ourselves. Blindly, we reach out For friendship. 6 Friendship needs no symbol Or vow to make it whole; It’s just a sacred covenant That’s locked within the soul; It knows no creed or station. Or thought of gain or fame, For what it does is sacred, And is done in friendship’s name. — Emily R. Gray 7 Kindness in words creates confidence Kindness in thinking creates profoundness Kindness in giving creates friendship -Lao-Tse Activities HOMECOMING '74 STYLE RIGHT: Splendor reigns through wind and cold.
