Librarian Added to the faculty this year is Mrs. Marion Faulter, who came to Richmond this year from Memphis. She is the new high school librarian. With the help of her many Library assistants, Mrs. Faulter runs a very efficient library and is a great help to the students who seek her aid. Office Secretaries The office secretaries are responsible for all the book work in the office. They take all attendance records and the telephone calls. We extend our thanks to these faithful workers. From left to right are': Mrs. Ramsey; Mrs. Jenkins; Mrs. Snitchler; Mrs. Armstrong. Counselor Mrs. Ferguson last year taught Sociology but this year has become our full time coun- selor. Problems from the home as well as the school are taken to her by the students. Vocational guidance is also given by Mrs. Ferguson. Any students with problems are free to go to the Counseling room, and they receive advice from her. Mrs. Ferguson received her A.B. from Albion College and has done additional work at Northwestern University. 12

Students Explore Wonders of Math and the Space Agt Science Cleland Dame Certainly, students are extremely proud of the science department at Richmond High, for we are able to offer a full course in all science studies. Under the able direction of the science teachers, students can major in this course. Virginia Reed Harold Bowman William Mantle Arne Henderson Donald Alexander Frederick Nash High School students are required to take at least one year of mathematics. Here, Mr. Nash shows Don Grouix and Cindy Schwartz the correct way to work out a math problem.
