New Administration Proves Successful Mr. Krause is helping one of the office secretaries, Mrs. Jenkins. After teaching English for two years, at Richmond High, Mr. Carl Krause left in 1953 to teach for two years in Mt. Clemens. After an additional year of teaching in St. Clair Shores, he returned to our system in 1956 as Principal of Richmond High School, which position he held for five years. In this capaci- ty he was an able administrator, a fine counselor, and a good friend. Now Mr. Krause is in his first year as our Superintendent of Schools. He has taken over many additional responsibilities. To him go our thanks for keeping our school system running smoothly. Mr. Krause, our new superintendent 9

Mr. Charles Ritter, our new principal, came from Eastern Michigan University to our school this year. Although new to Richmond High, he has already made a good impression on the students, who have taken their problems to him and have received expert guidance. To Mr. Ritter we extend a hand of gratitude for the fine things he has done. 8 Mr. Ritter, our new principal
