With the passing of time, the echoes of our school life will grow fainter and fainter, and then die away. Gone forever will be the routine of school life, the fun we had, and the friends we made. It is our hope that, as you glance through this book in the years to come, you will re- capture those moments--and the echoes will begin again. Our sincere thanks to the local mer- chants, the various school organizations, Mr. Mike Hickey of the Richmond Review, and others who contributed, to make this yearbook possible. i 'Dedication We, the Echo staff of dedicate this yearbook to Mrs. Ruby M. Quick. Her friendly manner, cheerfulness, sense of humor, and her devotion to her chosen profession, have helped make our stay here at R. H. This page sponsored by SKINNER BUICK Sharon Thompson Carolyn Strutz Putting out a newspaper is loads of fun but entails much hard work. After the school news has been col- lected, edited, and type- written, a dummy copy is set up, from which is stenciled and mimeographed the finished product. All efforts put into this project bring satisfying rewards-- as the Tattletale is fi- nally put on sale. Here they are--the cheer- leaders whom we see cheering so energetically at all our games, ably counseled by Mrs, Lucia Marshall, their sponsor. These Eeople deserve a lot of credit, oosting our Blue Devils on to a championship this year. Compliments of PHIL A. LUTES - Oldsmobile GMC For the first time in many years, a Glee Club has been formed and under the able directorship of Mr, Robertson, has performed at many school functions, in- cluding P. T. A. meetings and assemblies. This is a select group of people doing much to bring better music to R.H.S. ST This young group includes the cheerleaders who are on hand at all reserve games to boost our J. V, football squad. Just as the J. V. football players learn the basic skills and tricks of the f;ame, so it is with these cheer - eaders, who also think up new cheers to present to the crowds.
