Shelby Taylor, Brenda Young, Judy Johnson, Patsy Burress and Miss Beavers. This quartet won second place in the Rich lands High School Talent Show. THIRD ROW: Nelline Hill, Sue Turner, Marie Vencill, Martha Wampler, and Elizabeth Lowery. FOURTH ROW: Ann Nuckolls, Brenda Taylor, Kay Brewster, Hannah Earls, Hazel Brown, Brenda Young, and Judy Johnson. The Richlands High School Girls’ Chorus, under the direction of Miss Lura Alice Beavers, has been active in the many musical activities, both in the school and in the community. A Christmas Concert was presented to the P.T.A. and the combined women’s clubs of the town. Christmas carols were sung in the halls to add to the joys of the season. The Choir has been active in the various talent, variety, and musical shows of the school and the community. Many members of the choir have won honors and awards in these and other com¬ petitive programs. Spring performances, Sunrise Service, May Day, and Commencement completed a successful musical year for the Choir.
