LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of The Senior Class of '49 We, the Senior Class of Nineteen Hundred Forty-Nine, of the City of Richlands, County of Onslow, and State of North Carolina, being of sound mind and memory, do hereby make publish, and declare this to be our last will and testament, hereby revoking any will or wills heretofore made by this class. To Richlands High School, we leave our sincere hope that the future will find it still helping the youth of this area on to a higher plane of learning. To our underclassmen, the Juniors, we will our front seats in chapel, and to you from failing hands we throw the torch. Be yours to hold it high. To Mr. Shaw and the faculty we leave our gratitude for the service they rendered unto us. To Miss Howard and Miss Austin we wish to say Thank You for what you did and helped us do in our Senior Year.
