Our class will long remember his helpful hand in the field of English, and in coaching our junior Play . The support and interest that he has shown in all of the school activities from sports to all class functions has been deeply appreciated. Mr. Faustman's home town is Bellevue, Michigan. He received his Liberal Arts Degree from the University of Michigan, and has studied towards his Master's Degree at the University of Minnesota. l Schoo High Hitbl 211111 Communily Schools 4...--44 aagfx:r ff,n,1.1:-fyvm-imsw. CLASS COLORS--Blue and White CLASS FLOWER--Red Carnation CLASS POEM--The Things That Haven't Been Done Before CLASS SONG--You'll Never Walk Alone When you walk tlmough a storm, keep your chin up high and don't be afraid of the dark. At the end of the storm is a golden ray, and the sweet silver song of a lark. Walk on through the wind, walk on through the rain, though your dreams be tossed and blown. Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart and you'll never walk alone. You'l1 never walk alone. THE THINGS THAT HAVENT BEEN DONE BEFORE 'I'he things that haven't been done before, Those are the things to tryg Colombus dreamed of an unknown shore At the rim of the far flung sky, And his heart was bold and his faith was strong As he ventured in dangers new, And he paid no heed to the jeering throng Or the fears of the doubting crew. The many will follow the beaten track With guideposts on the way, They live and have lived for ages back Witha chant for every day. Someone has told them it's safe to go On the road he has traveled o'er And all that they ever strive to know Are the things that were known before. A few strike out, with out map or chart, Where never a man has been, From the beaten paths they draw apart To see what no man has seen. 'I'here are deeds they hunger alone to dog Though battered and bruised and sore, They blaze the path for the many, who Do nothing not done before. The things that haven't been done before Are the tasks worth while to-dayg Are you one of the flock that follows, or Are you one that shall lead the way? Are you one of the timid souls that quail At the jeers of a doubting crew, Or dare you, whether you win or fail, Strike out for a goal that's new? Edgar A.
