The parade in the afternoon and the game and dance that night will long be remembered. Pictured above are the four queens seated on the float entered by the Senior Class. Left to right they are: Sharon Reinier, Shirley Lankford, Lillie Letts, and Harriett Cobb. The other scenes include: upper left, Supt. King, as master of ceremonies, introducing the queens and their escorts, left, Sharon Reinier seated on the throne after having been crowned by Larry Schultz, honorary captain in the game with Bussey that evening, right, Lillie Letts being escorted through the aisle of students by Ronald Hahn, lower left, the queens during the night-time parade between halves ofthe game, and lower right, the majorettes leading the parade. Our Athletic Banquet Toastmaster, Russell Bond, in action Guesf Speaker, Bud Suger Ronald Hahn presents Sectional Trophy Charles Peterson presents County Trophy The annual Athletic Banquet, sponsored by the Richland Commercial Club, was held on March l6th . A large crowd attended. Squad members were introduced. Trophies won were presented to the school and Bud Suter, Publicity Director for the State University of Iowa, was guest speaker.
