Our Board of Education Prom left to right: Iohn H. King, Superintendent, Harold Greeson, Presi- dent: Fay Schultz, secretary: Richard Conklin, Benny Rusk, Donald Tucker, and Gilbert Dickinson . Richland students are not unmindful of the part played by the Board of Education in making our education possible. We know ,of their unselfish service, all without pay, with only our best interests atheart. The group pictured above have had the added burden of work occasioned by the plan- ning and building of the new addition to our schoolhouse. We wish to ex- press our gratitude to them for their efforts to make life more pleasant for llS. Our Head Cook The Richland School Lunch Program is generally recognized as one of the best in the state. The credit for this r recognition is due principally to our 'V head cook, Mrs. Flossie Steel who f plans and manages the program. Every student of this school and every mem- ber of this community is aware of the fact that she spends many hours beyond those required of her for the welfare of those she feeds each day. Our Office Girl Many and varied are the duties of A our office girl, Miss Marilyn Sheraden ' '31 who serves as secretary to our superin- tendent. Our efforts to run her ragged never erased the perpetual smile we always associate with her. She never failed to make a trip to the office a pleasant experience. , Our Custodian Our clean and comfort- able building is principally due to the long hours and untiring effort of our cus - todian, Mr. Ray Ward. He is one person who does not punch a time clock and the results of his efforts are appreciated by all of us who live here. ii' ize- In
