School opened in September with sixteen enrolled in the seventh grade and fifteen in the eighth, Anna May Reynolds joined the eighth grade in February, This year the activities of the junior High School have centered around music and sports. Several are members of the junior and Senior bands and are in high school and grade choruses, The junion High basketball boys Won five games and lost six, The boys' county basketball tournament was held in Richland, March 8-12, The junior High girls have won five straight games, The girls' basketball tournament was held at Ollie in March, The seventh and eighth grades put on a magazine sale campaign which netted profits of 3236, We also had charge of some of the concessions at the basketball games, A Stewart-Warner television set was purchased and the students were able to watch Iowa TV Schooltimen, an educational television program presented by W Ol, I The junior High operated the school patrol with Francis Weber as captain.and jerry Nichols and Harry Pendergraft as lieutenants,
